About the escape room
Since the beginning of the 20th century, St. Mary's Hospital, located in the county of Sabadell, opened its doors to the public with a seemingly benevolent purpose: to treat children, adolescents, and social outcasts with mental problems. At first glance, it was nothing more than a hospital like any other. Unfortunately, far from being the country's model psychiatric hospital, under the direction of Dr. Loeb, it became the epicenter of the cruelest, most terrifying, and macabre experiments. Fifty years after its closure and abandonment, St. Mary's remains standing, but its dark secrets live on. The Securest company has monitored the premises ever since to prevent intrusions. A few days ago, however, contact was lost with the night watchman, Peter Strahm, and he hasn't been heard from since... Securest has hired you to investigate the hospital and discover what happened to Peter. You must find any evidence or information that might shed light on his disappearance and the secrets that still lurk in the shadows of St. Mary's.

AI Overview

AIMost highlight a large, polished set, well-planned scares, and a unique structural twist that deserves zero spoilers. The intensity hits hard at the start, then settles into medium horror, more enjoyable than extreme. The GM/actor earns lots of praise for commitment and warmth. Main critiques: lighting can be too dim at times, and beyond the big trick, the experience is fairly straightforward.
WeaknessesLighting in some stretches can be darker than comfortable. Aside from the big moment, several see it as a fairly linear horror experience. There are occasional physical interactions that not everyone is thrilled about.
StrengthsAn impressive set that throws you into St. Mary’s and a couple of very original staging ideas. Good balance between fear and puzzles, with variety and logic. The actor/GM’s work seals the immersion.
SecurityThere’s low lighting and moments of physical interaction, so it’s best to speak up if something bothers you. The GM is very present and attentive, adding a sense of control during the scares.
Level of fearMedium horror with an intense start; scary without being unbearable. Not for small kids; better for adults and brave teens, and there’s a terror mode for anyone who wants more punch.
Actors' gamePeople mention an actor with physical commitment and real presence, and a very attentive GM who knows when to push and when to let things flow. Player interaction is well judged and feels earned, not gratuitous.
Quality of riddlesPuzzles are clear, varied, and fit the story; more “escape room” than other horror offerings in the city. Medium difficulty, with enough quantity to keep pace without stalling. Occasional darkness can complicate a detail or two, but the logic holds.
PlotYou’re hired to investigate the disappearance of guard Peter Strahm and uncover St. Mary’s secrets. No spoilers: there’s a very fine structural twist that changes how you experience the story.
Difficulty levelMedium and friendly for mixed groups; veterans will enjoy the design and the set piece more than an extreme challenge. With timely hints, new teams also do well.
