About the escape room

Marie Laveau was born on September 10, 1794, in the French district of New Orleans, the daughter of a rich white landowner and a Mulatto woman. Over the years, two things were confirmed about this woman: that she had great beauty, and that, as rumors had it, she regularly practiced black magic and voodoo. It's said that this magic is what granted Marie her beauty and power. In fact, her special abilities attracted a multitude of high-class women to her, earning her great fame and the nickname "Queen of Voodoo in New Orleans." After the death of her husband and lovers under bizarre circumstances, it was Laveau's turn to die, passing away at the age of 41 in 1835... or so it is said. On other official death records from the city, the name Marie Glapion Laveau appears, having died in 1881 at the age of 86. Her grave has been visited in the city since then, however, the story goes beyond that date. A few months ago, Dr. Jack Green located the current whereabouts of the witch in the city of Madrid. Living in the Cuesta de San Vicente, the woman seems to have adopted a new identity to honor her Queen nickname, which has been attributed to her by various people over the years: Mary B. Queen. Unfortunately, after several attempted contacts with this researcher, he seems to have disappeared, and nothing has been known since he decided to go to Mary's address in search of her or any clue that would allow him to track her down. There's only one way to find out if this place and the clues lead to the Black Queen, a group of brave people must prove their worth and offer themselves as a sacrifice. In this way, we will know if there is a link between Marie Laveau and the recently discovered Mary B. Queen, as well as, incidentally, visit what is presumed to be her last residence. To those who dare to take this step, we have to advise them, not to say plead with them (since we do not want to put their lives in danger), to leave after 60 minutes. This is the amount of time it took to lose communication with Dr. Green, so we think this is the necessary time before the Black Queen appears, something we do not wish for any of the participants. To volunteer, you can book at this link or contact us via phone at 91 169 50 07 or 690 17 80 56. Sick of hearing witch stories? Come live one with us.
