The Legend of Goya

The current farmhouse, from the 19th century, is located in Zubieta (Gipuzkoa). There was a previous farmhouse (from the 14th century) that was destroyed by fire. In the 17th century, Juan de Goya was a well-known member of the community. It is said that thanks to his exotic travels he managed to collect valuable treasures. When a fire destroyed the farmhouse in the 18th century, no one found the treasure.
