You are in ancient Babylon, capital of the Great Mesopotamian Empire, heavily walled and divided by the Euphrates River, and considered one of the gates of the Gods on Earth.
In an effort to match the power of the Gods, men seek to build a tower so high that its pinnacle reaches the gates of Heaven.
Just as construction begins, God descends to see the city and, realizing humanity's delusions of grandeur, decides to thwart the mission by confusing their language.
