Robert West: Reanimator

As a good research team, you were waiting for this moment... The infamous Dr. Robert West's home has been abandoned for years. An anonymous person acquired the property and since then the place has been watched day and night. The quintessential haunted house, ever since nearly a hundred years ago when a mad, eccentric millionaire performed cursed rituals and murdered many people. The building remained empty for a long time until, in the 1970s, a certain Robert West took possession of the house. The legend resurfaced again, with talk that Dr. West went insane within the manor’s walls and, obsessed with bringing his patients back from death, lost his mind. There were many rumors of missing corpses from the Medical School at Miskatonic University, as well as patients from the Arkham sanatorium who were sent to Dr. West and never returned. Everything began to take on a very dark hue... the color of thick blood. The police intervened when one of Dr. West’s patients managed to escape his clutches. Mrs. Wright was found a couple of streets away from the doctor’s home, covered in deep surgical cuts and at death’s door. Little more was learned about Dr. West’s whereabouts. It is said that he now rots in a dark cell, isolated and completely mad. His house was bought by unknown individuals, apparently very interested in his work. The place was surrounded by surveillance and has remained so until now. A woman’s call a couple of days ago surprised you. She claimed to have connections with the current owner and offered you an offer you couldn’t refuse. You would have access to the house for one hour to, according to her, retrieve certain material related to Dr. West’s work. That was certainly strange and startling, but the chance to reopen the doors of that house and step inside was more tempting than anything else. Why you? Why so much secrecy? What lies beyond the door of Dr. Robert West’s house? There is only one way to answer those questions...
