About the escape room
Will you be able to find the documents and get out of the house before "El Rubio" arrives?
The Heist of '81 Escape Room:
On May 23, 1981, the Central Bank of Barcelona was robbed—but not just any robbery. What everyone would assume is that they made off with a huge haul: millions of pesetas and Spain’s gold. But no! Their real goal was to steal documents that could drag the country into an international conflict, intending to sell them to a foreign government willing to pay a large sum.
The Police Scientific Technical Investigation Service knows that the ringleader of the heist is Juan José Martínez, aka "El Rubio". He managed to escape after the robbery and took with him highly confidential documents. You are going to enter his house to recover those documents.
Juan José is a professional thief with an extensive criminal record. A security systems specialist, his home is armored with countless protections.
Every day he visits his mother at the care home. The visit lasts one hour, so we estimate you have 74 minutes to find the documents stolen from the Central Bank and escape before he returns. It won’t be easy — "El Rubio" hides many secrets behind locks, padlocks, and puzzles.
