Daemonium

Rome, winter of 1980. A Catholic family. The devout mother, Fiorella, is a seamstress for the Vatican. Her husband Adriano Galbanni, a retired soldier. The daughter, Carlota, a happy 11 year old girl. Everything goes on as normal until the unexpected happens. An enigmatic disappearance. Aunt Giulia suspects something and her investigation triggers a tragedy. Gabriel Amorth is a veteran exorcist who works for the Vatican and has been assigned to the Galbanni home. Carlota has started to exhibit strange behaviors and her mother has asked the church for help. Deacon Antonino knows that the church forbids recording exorcisms, but he sees an opportunity in this occasion and decides to document everything that happens in the house during the process. Everything goes on as normal until the door to Carlota's room suddenly closes while knocks, Latin prayers and strange voices in other languages are heard. The time has come to ask for help from the team of newly graduated exorcists.
