The Mysterious Case of the Time Machine

In our warehouse we store unusual objects, in this case a time machine. Due to a technical malfunction in the machine, it has traveled to point X in the temporal space, upon recovering it and conducting a thorough review, we realized that the most essential part of the machine is missing, the book of its operation and designs. These documents are very important because if they fall into the wrong hands they could change the course of history as we know it. Your mission will be to get the time machine working, travel to the past and recover these essential documents, but remember, the machine does not have enough energy to withstand more than one hour of travel.
